Testimonials

"THANK YOU! I just experienced the best 3 weeks of my life and that's in large part thanks to you. I don't even know where to start or what to say or how to even thank you adequately (well, I can't, I suppose). It's so hard to encapsulate the last few weeks for anyone…you gave me the best three weeks of my life, so thanks."

    —Megan Whittaker, 2007 Sculpture Student

"I had a great time! The program was really nice, I enjoyed myself a lot. I loved the teacher…I see your vision for the program, and wish you all the best. And I hope to participate again in the future."

    —William Mwazi, 2007 Painting Student

“I just wanted to let you guys know I had the best time in Italy, and I will always cherish it in my memory. Thank you again!”

—Harry Ito, 2007 Painting Student

“I always wanted to try stone carving, so the trip helped me to fulfill a dream. Now I am hooked and definitely want to go back again. The master carvers were intelligent, fun and willing to answer questions and help us fuel our passion for working in this medium. Staying in the medieval village of Serre di Rapolano was peaceful and relaxing, as well as the trips to the local mineral spas. I also enjoyed our excursions to Siena and Florence, where we saw so much historical artwork and got to experience the culture of Tuscany.”

—Cindy Noles, 2007 Sculpture Student

“I enjoyed the workshop immensely and think I learned something in the process. Seriously, my goal of returning next year says it all. Great experience worth every penny, and then some.”

—Jason Gillespie, 2007 Sculpture Student

Hello from Tuscany

Posted by Steve on June 26, 2007 in Announcements

Hey folks,
After doing things the old-fashioned way for a while, we are up and running with a very sharp website designed by Jon which will help you get a better understanding of who we are and what we do. The summer is settling in here in Tuscany, with the landscape making its final shift into scorched tones of amber and straw. Local villages are abuzz with various festivals and Siena itself is bracing for the engrossing Palio horserace in a week’s time. The following week we have a full house of 15 students arriving to engage in painting and stone sculpture courses. We literally filled our lodging and transportation to capacity this time around and will have to either add sections next year or create a waiting list. Check out the offerings for ’07-’08 and don’t hesitate to contact us with questions.

Saluti,
Steve
